Re-edited..... as you see in previous reviews, some people commented that they did not like the book because of grammatical and editing issues. I have been a fan of EA Weston' s work for a few years now and she genuinely takes into consideration what her fans and critics say. I have now read this book twice and love it just as much now as I did the first time. And I will most likely re-read the Lupo series books she has released so far again until the next one is released.Emery is finding out a brand new secret about her family that is very intriguing which also gives her more questions. I love Emery & Ash's relationship though sometimes you get that "really dude? " attitude towards him. Lol
I say ignore any review before 2017 and download this new and improved re-edited version of "Bite Me" and fall in love with EA Weston' s writing. You seriously will go looking for more of her writing when you finish one and waiting on the next. She has not only the sci-fi type romantic books, she has normal "every day" people too. She has quickly become one of my favorite aurhors!

I loved this first episode the most. It introduces you to Emery and Ash. Best friends and of course what happens alot between besties one falls for the other. In this case it's Emery for Ash. But once Ash finds out her feelings things don't go so well. Emery's cousin Teegan comes to stay for the summer and what Emery discovers is a well kept family secret.

I LOVED IT!!!
I love Emery and Asher, they are not a couple but act it and blondie aka Emily is such a fake superficial person.
I do love how cousins are reconnecting over the summer while Emery copes with her family secret. While her mom is away, Teegan keeps Emery busy with early workouts and is over protective of her.
Great family dynamics mixed with love and anger and biting and werewolves. I'm getting the rest of this series, you should get this too!
This was a cute and quick read because it's a serial. In other words, a series of very short "novels" releasing usually within a span of 2-3 weeks apart to complete a full story arc. This is the first time I finally picked up a serial in my reading history and I can't say I hate it.
The story started off very cute, but I did have a few issues with it. For instance the event at the pool with Ty. Why was everyone so laid back about it? Does everyone know something the reader and the main heroine (Emery) doesn't know? It really felt like I was only beginning to scrape the surface of a mystery.
Ash was nice, right up to the point when he started making no effort to spend time with Emery anymore even though they were BFF's for maybe 13 years. It just made no sense to me. You may ask why this drama happened and I can safely answer you for once A GIRL. I was really disappointed in him and in their so called friendship.
Overall, it was an interesting story even though I found the ending unnecessary. I will be continuing on in this serial. I hope the "villain" isn't as obvious as it's seeming right now. I want to be proven wrong for once! Also Teegan was an awesome character.

I fell so hard for this book!! I loved the story and how the characters come to life when you start reading this story! Emery Whitechurch is young woman who like many falls very hard for her best friend Ash Carter. They have grown up together and sees him differently than she used to and is afraid to ruin their friendship. Ash is the one that you dream about and he a lot like her knight in shining armor. Once the truth is out how Emery feels about Ash, Emery is hurt and feels she has ruined their friendship all together. Teegan has come to stay the summer with Emery her cousin, and makes the summer more enjoyable for her. Teegan comes clean with a secret that Emery does not know about as far as her family goes. The story is a great beginning to a wonder new story. It keeps you guessing along the way and makes you want to know more. I was so drawn into it and hated when it ended. So much worth the read!!! Just do not take my word for it try it yourself and see!
Full of mystery
It was nearly impossible to read. Run-on sentences, little to no punctuation. Someone ran a spell-check program who doesn't know how to spell. Weston is the new name for Elizabeth Kelly. I've enjoyed other books by her and they were nothing like this one. If I could guess, I'd say this was written by her 13 year old son. As for plot? It was also hard to find. Thank goodness it was only one dollar.
The story was okay but the books (all of the first season) need some SERIOUS editing. Lack of punctuation, poor word usage and sentence structure definitely brought my opinion of this book down a few notches. Also, in the first book, Bite Me, it is hard to tell how old Emery and Asher are. First high school is mentioned a lot but then somewhere along the line it states they finished. The characters and background should have been developed more.
The description mentioned that the writer wrote a best seller. If this is the quality of her work I find that hard to believe.
